Agrosuper-owned Verlasso salmon says it has reformulated its feed and now uses only algae and recycled trimmings from wild-caught feeder fish already bound for human consumption. Additionally, the company is relocating all of its farms now producing Verlasso salmon to the southern most region of Patagonia, Region XII, in Magallanes.

Moving Verlasso's farms to Magallanes will give the company the most pristine waters to farm in the most natural way possible, Verlasso general manager Moises del Rio told IntraFish.
