Chilean salmon farmer Ventisqueros reported damages to several farming cages at its Tubildad site, in Chiloe, Los Lagos, to the National Service of Fishing and Aquaculture (Sernapesca).
Sernapesca urged the company to activate its contingency plan, identify the damage and count the number of fish at the site to determine the size of the escape.
