US land-based shrimp company Tru Shrimp will delay the start of the construction of its first facility, scheduled to be built in Madison, South Dakota, reports Argus Leader.
The delay announcement is the second setback the company faces after having to change plans to build its first facility in Luvern, Minessota – its first option – to the South Dakota location.
Th company received $6.5 million (€5.7 million) in economic development funding from South Dakota officials, but now says it has no immediate plans to begin construction.
