Land-based NaturalShrimp, Inc. said Thursday that together with F&T Water Solutions it has has received a US patent for a Vibrio Suppression Technology system, which eliminates water-borne bacteria and other harmful organisms and allows shrimp to grow and thrive in an indoor environment that can be replicated anywhere in the world.
The system, the company said, automatically controls ammonia, bacteria, solids, and feed quantity available to a captive species in a closed, water-based habitat.
