Asian giants Guangdong Evergreen Feed Industry of China and Htoo Thit Co. of Myanmar lead the pack in the F3 Challenge seafood feed contest, as it hits the halfway point to the $200,000 (€179,320) prize.
The Guangdong group has sold 53,815 metric tons of fish-free feed, and Htoo Thit has sold 29,600 metric tons, the group said.
The contest encourages contestants to produce quality fish-free feed, and the winner will sell 100,000 metric tons -- or be the closest to do so -- by Sept.
