Land-based yellowtail kingfish producer The Kingfish Company reached an important milestone in the second quarter of 2022, as earnings from its Netherlands operation turned positive and the group more than doubled sales due to strong demand.
The company increased its second quarter sales to €4.8 million ($4.8 million), up from €2.3 million ($2.3 million) during the same quarter last year. The increase was largely driven by strong demand in Europe and the United States, the company said.
The average sales price increased to €13.10
