Hilton Seafood UK, formerly known as Icelandic Seachill, is pushing to replace wild-caught fish oil in its salmon feed with sustainable algal oil.

The company said it is actively working with its farmed salmon suppliers to improve the sustainability of what is one of the biggest volume seafood products it sells.

"We are looking for innovations that have the potential to deliver step changes at scale, and this is an example of how we are achieving this in partnership with our suppliers," said the company.
