Lighthouse Finance-backed Quality Salmon, a land-based salmon project in Sweden, is partnering with alternative feed ingredient producer iCell on water cleaning and nutrient recovery in its recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) farm.
The partnership marks Hong Kong-based iCell's first entry into Europe. The firm treats all water -- processing water and RAS discharge water -- and converts it into a single-cell protein ingredient.
