As part of its marketing pitch to Chinese shoppers, Multiexport is highlighting the fish's Patagonian origin and emphasizing its ability to deliver fish that's both fresh and safe -- a critical message given the massive hit salmon's reputation took following the discovery in June of COVID-19 on a cutting board in a Beijing wholesale seafood market.
