Land-based turbot and sole producer Stolt Sea Farm boosted revenue and profit in the third quarter thanks to a combination of increasing sales volumes and higher prices for turbot and sole.

The company reported revenue of $33.5 million (€29 million) and an operating profit of $12.8 million (€11.1 million) for the third quarter, compared with $26.9 million (€23.3 million) and $3.9 million (€3.4 million), respectively, during the same quarter last year.

Both the volume sold and prices for turbot and sole improved substantially during the typically busy summer season.
