Spanish development agency Sodercan is deploying €1 million ($1.3 million) into Norcantabric, a local company planning to erect a land-based salmon farm in Cantabria on Spain's northern coast.
The total investment needed for the project is estimated at €31.4 million ($35 million) and will create 120 jobs, Financial Food reported.
