Spanish bass supplier relaunches under new name, targets 20% sales increase

Spanish sea bass producer Grupo Tinamenor is relaunching under a new name -- Aquanaria -- after coming out of financial issues last year.

Aquanaria brings together all the remaining companies integrated in the previous Grupo Tinamenor with the exception of the subsidiary Doradas y Lubinas Canarias de Crianza (Dylcan), it said in a statement to IntraFish.

With this new stage in its business, the Canary Islands-based company, which was founded in 1973, is aiming to "consolidate its leading position in Europe in production of large size sea bass."
