Shrimp farmers in the Nellore district of India near the southeast coast are incurring huge losses from white gut virus, reports The Hans India.

There has been sudden fall in the shrimp production. Aqua farmers are now getting only 35-40 count against the expected 100 count due to the virus, therefore, incurring a loss of INR 300 (€4.27/$4.67)per count.
