Semi-floating $58 million salmon farm gets go ahead

Aqua Semi floating aquaculture platforms are based on the same principle as semi-submersible drilling rigs with a closed roof construction.

Construction is by Norwegian shipbuilder Vard is scheduled to start next year. First fish should be released in 2022.
