A Norwegian group backed by some of the biggest names in seafood has picked long-time land-based salmon farming executive Ole Christian Norvik to head up its operations.

The group, Seaweed Solution, announced the hire on the back of a NOK 46 million (€4.4 million/$4.8 million) from private investors and the World Wildlife Fund.
