Norwegian salmon producer Bremnes Seashore is the newest member of Salmon Group, a network of small and medium-size salmon and trout farmers in Norway.

Bremnes Seashore is now one of 41 fish farmers in the network.

The company is one of Norway's largest privately owned salmon farming companies, with an annual turnover of about NOK 2.8 billion (€255 million/$301 million).

In June, Salmon Group signed an exclusive agreement with insect protein producer Metapod to develop a new protein source for salmon feed -- grasshoppers.
