SalMar subsidiary Ocean Farming AS said its construction of Ocean Farm 1 -- the "world's first offshore fish farm," is on track and smolt should be in the cages by the third quarter of this year, said CEO Trond Williksen.
The ocean net pens are currently under construction in China and will be placed outside of Trondelag.
