Russia’s largest salmon farming company, Russian Aquaculture, harvested 17,032 metric tons between August 2018 and June 2019.

The volumes include 10,067 metric tons of Atlantic salmon from its sites in the Barents Sea, 6,356 metric tons of trout farmed from the White Sea, and 1,508 metric tons of lake trout from Karelia.

The average weight of the harvested Atlantic salmon was 5.9 kilograms, sea trout's average weight was 4.4 kilograms and lake trout averaged 2 kilograms.

The harvested salmon biomass was used for the production of chilled fish products, which reached a total volume of 15,400 metric tons.
