Roger Hofseth, owner and CEO of Hofseth International, is studying the potential of converting his recently purchased olivine rock mine in Romsdal, Norway, into a 100,000 metric ton land-based salmon facility, he told IntraFish.
"We haven't made the move yet, we bought the area and are conducting research to see whether it's feasible to go for it," Hofseth said.
