Benchmark, a global aquaculture genetics, health and specialist nutrition firm, saw earnings surge in the third quarter of its 2022 financial year, driven by growth and foreign exchange movements.

The company reported a revenue of £36.3 million (€43 million/$43 million) and adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of £22.4 million (€26.5 million/$26.5 million), representing a year-on-year increase of 31 percent and 82 percent respectively.

Benchmark said the growth was a continuation of the growth it has seen since its 2020 restructuring.
