Merck Animal Health has released a new report on scientificsolutions for bacterial control. In the form of a booklet, Merck is offering information from sixscientists on bacterial disease in warmwater fish is a summary of thesymposium, “Bacterial Disease in Warmwater Fish: New Strategies for SustainableControl.”
The authors note that while bacterial disease remains acostly problem for producers of tilapia and other warmwater fish, it can bemanaged effectively with integrated, sustainable health programs involvingvaccination and appropriate treatment options, when necessary.
