Investment group Broodstock Capital is considering investments in land-based fish farms in the “near future," a strategic shift from the group's focus on ancillary and support businesses to the sector.
Broodstock Capital Partner Kjetil Haga told IntraFish the group wants to utilize its “unique understanding and knowledge” of land-based aquaculture technology, and is planning to develop funds targeting the land-based recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS) sector.
