Consulting firm Everis Ingenieria and sister company Everis Peru have joined forces to supply and install intensive aquaculture recirculation systems (RAS) for the country's Centre for Aquaculture Productive Innovation and Technology (CITE).
The work includes the installation of 14 recirculation systems for producing Amazonian species such as paiche (known as pirarucu in neighboring Brazil), gamitana (tambaqui in Brazil), paco (pacu in Brazil), and tilapia.
The Peru Institute of Production (ITP)-owned site in the northern region of San Martin is part of the government’s initiative for developing the aquaculture production chain in the region.
