Private equity firm Broodstock Capital increased its stake in the Norwegian software solution firm Maritech to 98 percent.

The company first acquired 52 percent of the shares in Maritech in 2017. The company now bought the additional 36 percent of shares from Midvest Funds and another 10 percent from Bolgen Invest.

"The aquaculture industry is still relatively analogous, but the digitilization wave we saw the contours of a couple of years ago has now started to increase in size," Broodstock Capital Partner Kjetil Haga said.
