This year has been a challenging year for many, including Greek seabass and seabream producer Kefalonia Fisheries.

Soon after the turn of the year, Russia invaded Ukraine, which not only led to a humanitarian crisis, but also a complete disruption of supply chains. At the start of the year, Kefalonia struggled just to source feed material and then faced unprecedented cost increases.

Price levels for the company's bass and bream rose sharply, with prices for bream at its highest since 2015 and bass prices their highest since 2016.
