An oil spill from a vessel operating in Mowi's Kyleakin, Scotland, feed facility harbor area forced the salmon giant to bring in environmental teams to help contain the spill, the Press and Journalreported.
“Swift action was taken to identify and contain the spill by our staff who are specifically trained to handle this type of incident and have spill containment equipment on standby as part of routine operations,” said Mowi Operations Director Claes Jonermark.
