US-based offshore aquaculture company Forever Oceans has hired Matt Brooker as its global director of business development, according to a LinkedIn post.
Brooker was most recently employed as interim president at Ren Seafoods between 2020 and 2022. Prior to this he worked for The Fishin' Company for 11 years.
Forever Oceans began commercial harvesting and sales this year, and its fish is available in a growing number of restaurants in the United States.
The company told IntraFish in July it expects to sell one million kanpachi (Seriola Rivoliana), or longfin yellowtail, over the next 12 months from its Panama farm.
