Norwegian aquaculture giant NTS has submitted a bid to buy all shares of Norway Royal Salmon (NRS) at a price of NOK 209 (€20.10/$23.70) per share.
A tender obligation was triggered when the agreement between NTS's wholly owned subsidiary Midt-Norsk Havbruk AS (MNH) and Masoval on the sale of Ice Fish Farm was implemented in June.
As a result NTS was obliged to either sell down its stake in Norway Royal Salmon or make an offer to buy the remaining shares.
