The Norwegian salmon farmer Nova Sea promoted board member Aino Olaison to chairman, according to a release on the Register of Business Enterprises.

The Olaison family holds the largest stake in the company, while salmon giant Mowi directly and indirectly owns 48 percent of Nova Sea.

The company also added former Nofima researcher Solveig Van Nes to the board, along with Ragnar Joensen, the Faroe Islander who previously worked with Mowi, most recently as Technology Director.
