Norwegian salmon farmer's Masoval's investment group, Masoval Eiendom, and Norwegian private equity firm Farvatn Private Equity have made a joint investment in biotechnology company Hyperthermics.

Norway's Hyperthermics develops and supplies systems to convert organic material into biogas and protein.

"The aquaculture industry is investing heavily in becoming greener, and our solutions contribute to transforming fish sludge into a valuable resource," Hyperthermics CEO Erlend Haugsbo said.

The investors are a good fit as they are both involved in aquaculture and fish farming, he added.
