Norwegian farmed salmon prices retreat slightly but still at record high levels

At this week's seafood trade show in Barcelona there was plenty of grumbling about the high salmon prices.

“Yes, the prices are hefty,” said broker Simen Thorbeck from salmon exchange Fish Pool. “They are beautiful for the farmers, but not for the customers. We heard a lot of lamentations in Barcelona.”
