Norwegian cod farmer Statt Torsk is revising down its harvest guidance for 2023 by 22 percent, as it turns its attention to developing the market for its products.

The group is now operating with a harvest and sales plan of approximately 3,500 metric tons in 2023, it said in an update.

"Our focus will be to develop the market and new customers and increase the sales further
in line with our product strategy," said Gustave Brun-Lie, CEO of Statt Torsk.

Since September 2022, Statt Torsk has supplied regular weekly deliveries to its pilot customer in Spain.
