Norwegian cod farmer Statt Torsk's production site in northern Norway is being stocked with fish that will eventually make up the company's first commercial-scale harvest in 2024.

The site, which was fallowed between February and April after a trial run, will be filled with 100,000 cod, with 900,000 fish expected to be in the sea by the end of summer.

The farm's production period is expected to be 25-30 months, during which time Statt Torsk aims to grow around 3,200-3,600 metric tons of cod.
