Norwegian aquaculture companies Aqualine, AquaOptima and Steinsvik merged to become ScaleAQ.

The three companies worked closely together for the past two years and complement each other very well, according to Geir Myklebust, acting chief executive of ScaleAQ.

Aqualine and Steinsvik Group are aquaculture equipment firms, and AquaOptima is a recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) equipment supplier.

ScaleAQ will have unique product portfolio and skill set with a local presence in 11 countries," he said.

"We will be offering everything from well-known standalone products to turn-key projects in addition to consulting and engineering services."
