Norway-based Salten Smolt, a subsidiary of Salten Aqua, inked a deal to begin work on a NOK 600 million (€59.1 million/$65.5 million) smolt facility next month in Breivik, Norrway.
The recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) facility will be built alongside Salten Smolt's existing facilities in Breivik, which will continue to produce smolt in line with the new facilities.
