Norwegian tycoon Helge Gaso, the second largest shareholder in Norwegian aquaculture group NTS, has agreed to sell his 46.5 million shares in the company to salmon farming giant SalMar for NOK 3.51 billion (€334.9 million/$356 million).
After a lengthy process, SalMar made its mandatory offer to acquire all the shares in NTS in November, with an offer price of NOK 75.48 (€7.2/$7.7) per share.
