Salmon Group, which represents Norway's small and medium-sized producers, said Friday it will immediately discontinue the use of Brazilian soy in its feed.
This comes as the group conducts a review of all feed ingredients in an effort to make feed more sustainable.
"It's not linked to the Amazon fires," a Salmon Group spokesperson for the 44-strong member group told IntraFish. "It's good timing of course."
