Nordlaks' huge offshore salmon farm Havfarm 1 has left the dock in Yantai, China, after setbacks delayed its planned spring arrival in Norway.
Nordlaks announced the delay of the project in December when it said that the shipyard had underestimated the complexity of the project.
Despite weather-related challenges and clampdowns on travel to China for testing linked to the coronavirus outbreak, there has been good progress on the construction in the past few weeks, said Nordlaks, and Havfarm will be arriving in Norway in time for summer.
