Nordic Aquafarms announced Thursday it is expanding its land-based recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) farm in Humboldt County, California, to be around the same size as its 54-acre RAS facility in Maine.
Erik Heim, the US CEO of both projects, confirmed with IntraFish the company is leasing three more acres for the California RAS site.
