NORWEGIAN net and cage systems producer Egersund Net AS will launch a net washing machine at AquaNor.
It was designed and produced by the Egersund-based company in response to demand for "a powerful and solid machine for heavy use", it tells FFI.
The machine has a 30cu metre drum which lies on a 'crib' of rotating wheels. This ensures that the drum is steady and with a precise rotation.
Power is by an electrical unit, with gear connection, in the middle of one end of the machine, and this is to the washing machine by a special 'hang up' system.
