Land-based shrimp farmer NaturalShrimp said it has agreed to acquire the assets of Barrmundi farmer Alder Aqua for $10 million (€8.5 million).
Under the terms of the deal, NaturalShrimp will acquire assets including property, equipment, tanks, rolling stock, inventory, permits, contracts, customer lists and contracts.
Sites in Blairsburg and Buckeye, Iowa are included in the deal.
NaturalShrimp has been working with Alder Aqua, formerly known as VeroBlue Farms, over the past two years.
