Multiexport Foods' Salmones Multiexport division has secured $250 million (€224 million) worth of credit with a consortium of three national and international banks.
Credit lines have been granted by Cooperatieve Rabobank, DNB Bank and Banco de Credito e Inversiones.
The agreement includes a loan for $150 million (€135 million) in addition to a $100 million (€90 million) credit line running over seven years.
Funds will be used the Chilean salmon producer to pay current loans with banks and finance the company's long-term strategic development plan.
