German retailer Lidl is now contracting with Norwegian salmon giant Mowi, as one of its suppliers for sushi and prepared fish meals, Galician company Isidro 1952, began to show signs of collapse, reported La Voz de Galicia.

Lidl previously maintained its relationship with Isidro 1952 despite the company entering bankruptcy proceedings.

According to the publication, Mowi has been trying to gain market share in Spain and Portgual. The product it will be supplying to the retailer will be coming from Mowi Poland. The report also says Mowi supplies sushi and smoked salmon to the retailer's chains in Germany.
