Mowi Scotland ops director leaves company

Mowi Scotland Operations Director Gideon Pringle is leaving the company, effective early 2020, after three and a half years in the role.

This is Pringle's second run with the salmon farmer -- he was previously employed by Mowi Scotland from 2004 to 2011, as the company's head of freshwater operations.

In between stints with Mowi, Pringle was also farming director for UK trout producer Dawnfresh.

Pringle declined to comment on the move, but told IntraFish that it was a personal decision to resign.
