Salmon farming giant Mowi has no near or clear plans to build a fish farm off the Isle of Eigg, Scotland, Managing Director Ben Hadfield said in response to the continuous criticism received from the Isle of Eigg community after a meeting held in October over such a project.
"However, we did have a desire to start a discussion with the community which we hoped in the fullness of time may have resulted in a position where the majority of the community would be comfortable progressing such a discussion," Hadfield said.
