Summa Equity, the owners of Polish salmon processing company Milarex, have established a new NOK 6 billion (€618 million/$696 million) fund and is once again on the hunt for a new investment.

"Summa Equity is one of the first acquisition funds to anchor its investment and value creation strategy in the UN's 17 [sustainable development goals]," Managing Partner Reynir Indahl told IntraFish.

"Investments in Fund II will focus on businesses that solve the challenges associated with Summa Equity's three focus areas; resource efficiency, demographic changes and technology-intensive activities."
