La Pisciculture de l'Eure, the newest subsidiary of the L'Occitane-backed Aquaponic Management Project (AMP), operates six freshwater trout farms in Normandy, France. The company has raised €800,000 ($865,330) in crowdfunding in order to develop its fish farms in Friardel and Montreuil.
"These two sites benefit from a quality of water and a flow which will make it possible to produce a fish of a quality comparable to that of the productions carried out until now on the current sites," the company said.
