Norway's Leroy Seafood harvested 162,039 metric tons of salmon and trout in 2018, a 2.7 percent increase from the 157,767 metric tons harvested in 2017.

Total harvests for the year increased 8.7 percent in Sjotroll, reaching 58,755 metric tons, and 3 percent in Midt, reaching 66,501 metric tons, but decreased 6.2 percent in Aurora, falling to 36,703 metric tons.

In the fourth quarter of the year alone, Leroy’s harvests increased 16.8 percent year on year, to 49,415 metric tons, the company said.
