Leroy investing extra $45 million in shielding technology as operational improvements pay off

Approximately 40 percent of the salmon the group harvests in 2025 will be from shielding technology, it said.

"The long-term efforts to improve genetics, roe and smolt quality, general process improvements, and the use of shielding technology is already bearing fruit and will gradually gain momentum in 2025 and beyond," said Henning Beltestad CEO of Leroy Seafood Group.
