Atlantic Sapphire has announced that Runar Vatne, who owns 4.2 percent of the outstanding shares in the company, is a candidate to join the board. Vatne controls shares in Atlantic Sapphire via Vatne Equity.
On Oct. 23, the board announced the resignation of Henrik Krefting. Krefting served on the board as an independent director of Vatne Equity until June 2019.
Vatne is the principal and owner of Vatne Capital, a family office investing in financial assets and real estate. He also serves as board member of real estate company Solon Eiendom and Self Storage Group.
